🛑 If you’ve done Pilates only on a yoga mat – this post is for you ❣️
Pilates is amazing and the mat work is for sure challenging and rewarding.
Working with your own body, moving it against gravity and finding strength as well as some beautiful stretches is wonderful.
Doing so with a wonderful teacher makes it more effective.
BUT...
What if I tell you you can have MORE THAN JUST ONE TEACHER to direct you, challenge you, make you pay attention to what you’re doing?
Well... you CAN📍
And not only that, in many ways you’ll have Mr. Pilates himself be your teacher 👴
Yes, it’s the Mat repertoire that came first, and then Pilates invented all those “machines”, and he explained why he did it:
“I invented all these machines.
I thought ‘why use my strength’?
So I made a machine to do it for me.”
The “machines” are giving you what Joseph Pilates wanted you to feel in your movement – they’re his guiding hands 🤲🏼
On top of that, you have an in-person teacher that can help you understand better, explain further, and make sure you’re getting what you individually need to move better, more efficiently, pain-free and confident 💖
Each piece of equipment was invented to help teach you an aspect of your movement.
The principle is the same but, the quality may be different. This is why experiencing more than just one “machine” and combining the mat-work gives you both a COMPREHENSIVE Pilates movement and an INDIVIDUAL experience.
So,
If you’ve never used any of the Pilates equipment and want to have Joe’s hands and strength to support you (as well as a teacher that will make it personal to you) – join us with our Comprehensive L1 courses 👁️🗨️
📢 We have one starting this coming Thursday (Feb 9th) @ 7:15pm.

This time of year can be stressful.
It can feel
busy,
intense
feverish
exciting
It can be tense
(not necessarily in a bad way)
That tension lives in the body.
It makes you feel all of the things.
I love becoming familiar with those sensations.
The twinkling December lights
that light the face
spark the eyes
or shin on a tear.
warm up the heart ,
making it race,
sending some chills down the spine...
EASE INTO IT ALL
BREATHE & MOVE WITH IT.
Happy festive season everyone ⭐

Supporting Women
After Pregnancy & Childbirth.
Pregnancy & Childbirth are amazing events that lead to amazing changes in who we are as women.
Ho
Those changes affect who we are, what we do, how we feel in almost all areas of life.
Changes are not always easy, even when we welcome them with open arms 🫶 and hearts 💞
There are challenges, difficult moments and adjustments to navigate through - physically, mentally & emotionally because the body had been through a lot, our psyche had been through a lot and physiologically we've been through a lot - not to mention that taking care of a baby is no small feat in any of those areas...
With that ☝️ in mind (and heart, and a few other organs and systems the body is made of) and knowing WE'RE NOT MEANT TO DO THIS ALONE without SUPPORT, knowledge and attention a Comprehensive Course/Program for PostNatal / Postpartum is added into our Nov-Dec term.
Like all our courses, this is not just about taking "a class".
🪷 It's about taking the time to block the noise that surrounds us (literally from the outside world but also the internal chatter we have with ourselves.
🪷 It's about shared experiences with others.
🪷 It's about learning about what it is that feel and how the interaction between the *sensory-feel* and *psychological-feel* come together.
🪷 It's about acquiring know-hows, skills and strategies that are RELEVANT and HELPFUL to where we are, where YOU are - right now.
If you had a baby and you're between 6 weeks to 18 month to giving birth - this course is aimed for you.
It's all about what you and your body had gone through, going through and the moment and the support to help you move through and beyond.
If you want to know more or have a chat about your experiences - reach out in messenger.
