Limerick legends v All Star Team Charity hurling match 2023

Delighted to finally meet up with Crumlin for the Cheque presentation picture today at Lyrath Hotel in Kilkenny. Last years Charity match and function raised €15771 along with an extra €1000 which was donated at the early stage to a local family who had a child needing care in Crumlin. Thanks again to everyone who supported us all the way throughout the year including sponsors, players, The Westward Ho Bar and Grill,The Greenhills Hotel and Ths High Kings and Mungret Gaa Club for hosting the match.

Folks on behalf of the committee and myself I am delighted to announce that we raised €15,302 after expenses for Crumlin children's hospital as part of the Charity hurling match and function this year. We also donated €1000 to a local family who's child was going through treatment in Crumlin children's hospital so total overall raised was €16,302. Thanks to everyone who so generosity donated to this cause and for giving your time to come along on the day and support us it's greatly appreciated. I will be taking a break from this fundraiser for a few years to concentrate on the family but please support my friend Adeline Gennery who is doing her own fundraiser next year for Milford Hospice, another worthy cause. To all those who kindly sponsored our event and donated various prizes we will be forever grateful. Will see ye all again soon.

Folks just a quick update for ye...all cash that we have got so far has been transferred to the Children's Health Foundation. We received a few cheques which are in the process of been sorted and sent to them directly. Committee member Adeline Gennery has a split the pot which she is still working on. There will he a night in Neilys Bar in Oola (date tbc) where the split the pot draw will be done and once that is done we will have a total figure raised. Thanks again to everyone for all your support. Looking forward to announcing the final figure to ye all.
