📣 Kilkenny Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP)
The Kilkenny Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) is a long-term strategy that will help shape the future of transport and mobility in Kilkenny City and its surrounding areas.

🚴🛣️ The SUMP includes recommendations for walking, cycling, public transport, roads and traffic management, alongside measures such as public realm improvements, safe routes to school zones, park and ride/stride facilities, mobility hubs, wayfinding and a parking strategy.

🚌 The plan aims to improve access to education, employment and key services by enhancing walking, cycling and public transport networks, while reducing car dependency and supporting a healthier, more connected and sustainable city.

🚴 Slow Roll and Bike Fest Kilkenny City
Join us for a slow roll through Kilkenny City streets on Sunday 17th May. Meet at the Parade at 11am. No booking required. Bring your own bike for slow roll.
Finish at County Hall for off-road, grass track racing, obstacle course and learn to cycle 12pm to 3pm. Mountain bikes available for off-road.

Be there for 2pm — Santa will be arriving off the river at 2:30pm and joining us for a magical cycle around town, finishing at the Castle 🏰

🎄 Dress festive, join the fun, and sing along to the Christmas tunes! 🎶
Come for the social spin at 1pm or meet us at 2pm to cycle with Santa!

🚲 Ride: 10km of city streets, dancing as we go. All ages welcome.
🍻 Finish: 7.30pm at Christy’s Bar - DJ keeps spinning into the evening
🍕 Refreshements and pizza available for purchase

Prizes for Best Halloween costume - so deck out yourself & your bike!

What a fantastic way to kick off Bike Week on May 10th! 🎉

It was amazing to see so many children out enjoying themselves on two wheels. From first-time riders to little speedsters, the smiles said it all! 😊

We had a jam-packed day full of cycling fun:
✅ MT coaching sessions
✅ Learn to cycle area
✅ Obstacle courses
✅ Off-road tracks
✅ Timed runs & races
✅ Specialized eRoad bike spins
… and so much more!

A big thank you to On Your Rothar and Aisling Cullen for organising the whole event, Clarke Joe Bergin Ronan Hayes, Luke Molloy Raúl Crenier who were there coaching/helping/leading on the day.
