On Thursday last the National School’s finals took place in Lakeside Templemore. Three Gowran players representing St Kieran’s College Kilkenny Jack McShane ,Aidan O Connell and Harry Concannon combined to take the bronze medal in the event and a great 36 holes of -4 would see Harry take the best individual score on the day to go alongside the same feat in the Leinster School’s finals in Kildare, continuing a great season for Harry. Well done Harry and team 🥉⛳️⛳️

Today we held the inaugural Pasty Kirk Memorial Strokeplay.
Patsy was a great member of the club and is fondly remembered by everyone involved in the club. A great turnout of players this morning after the early rain cleared saw some good scoring. In the Ladies section Stasia Heafey was the winner and Gents Nett winner was Michael McNally with Jack McShane taking the Gross prize.
Thanks to the Kirk family for presenting the winners with the prizes and the ladies for the refreshments afterwards as always everyone was well looked after.⛳️⛳️.
