Clear your mind, breathe and go outside.
Medical practitioners are beginning to prescribe time in nature to help stress, anxiety and depression. It's called a Green prescription.
Forest Bathing/Therapy helps to deeply connect with nature and oneself. Let nature help you xx

Happy days foraging and stocking up for winter.
Drying Yarrow - great for sweating out colds and fever.
Elderberries - so good for warding off cold and flu. I freeze the berries as they are then easier to de-stem. A spoon of elderberry syrup in the morning packs a punch of vitamin C.
Dandelion drying to pop into stews etc. So full of goodness.
Cob nuts (hazelnut) and beech mast.
Dried self heal for anytime feeling under the weather. And some rose petals, for some future chocolates....And nettle seeds, great for nutrition and energy.

Gardening by the moon phases is one of the oldest agricultural practices still in use. By harnessing the energy of the full moon it helps the plant grow. This is the first tree I have planted in my edible and medicinal garden project - a beautiful little crab apple tree.

A fascinating morning during Heritage week on Drummin Bog, St. Mullins. Volunteer moth surveyor Robbie Donnelly exhibited a beautiful variety of moths attracted by the nighttime light.
This was followed by a talk by hydrogeologist James Lalor.
Drummin Bog is the last remaining raised bog in Co. Carlow.

Dogs love blackberries too! Some scratches on the arms and legs from the bramble thorns, and purple fingers from their juice, don't deter the annual pick.
Connect with your food with the magic of foraging.
Packed with goodness including vitamin C and antioxidants they are so versatile and delicious ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹. With about 80 different varieties there's an abundance of different textures, sizes and tastes, but the drought has effected some of them this year in places where they have completed dried out. Others are still big and juicy! Enjoy.

Thank you to for being the most wonderful venue for Wildtime's Nature and Wellness retreat. What a fantastic weekend and group! Phenomenal home grown food sustained us throughout our activities, plus the luxury and comfort of such a beautiful venue.
We enjoyed much fun, learning, healing, laughter, peace and rejuvenation and more. And lots of new friends were made.
Thank you to the powerful workshop facilitators too, Suzan Crafting; Laura Alternative Therapy; Conor Conor Graham, and Sylvia Healing and Wellness. We loved every moment!
