We had great night with Dave Broderick from. Squash Ireland and hope to make a monthly event of this. we're always looking for new members so if you're interested just give us a shout.

A Squash Ireland shout-out to Kilkenny City SC for recently holding an energetic women's social squash blitz on their two courts at St Kieran's College.

In between mini-matches of classic squash, the players from the home club and the visiting Carlow LTC tried out Squash57 with rackets and balls provided by Squash Ireland.

The mix of playing styles and the rally-lengthening range of traditional and 57mm balls had everyone on their toes and enjoying the innovation.

Women's numbers are growing at Kilkenny City SC, and it is through initiatives like this that women stay playing squash and new members come along to be part of the social energy.

The accessibility of Squash57 can complement traditional squash nicely within a club and can offer a mix of playing avenues for all ages and abilities.
