Another set to ease me back to swimming and feeling the water.

Warm up
400 easy

Set 1
8 x 75 as 25 doggie paddle, 25 drill, 25 swim slow and perfect. All with fins and a snorkel.

Set 2
6 x 200 easy to steady rest 30”.

So this morning was my first swim back since December. Great to be back. Thought I’d share my session with you, as it might help you get moving too. If you think this is a bit hard just adjust the number of 100’s.

Main set
16 x 100 as 25 doggie paddle, 25 drill, 50 swim slow and pretty easy.

Remember if your just back into the water just keep it slow, forget the clock or watch and just try to ‘feel’ the water.

For those of you in Ireland, the pools are back open today 🎉. After nearly 6 months out of the water for many people, remember to keep it slow, enjoy the water and don’t expect too much from yourself ! Enjoy !!!

Great finish to the weekend for this young lady, after breaking the junior 100 freestyle record on Friday in a time of 55.73. Wonderful swimming.
