Kyujutsu Ireland

A great weekend on our 10th international kyujutsu seminar was had by all competitors from a range of clubs from Ireland, England, Northern Ireland, Germany and more , in all we had 3 competitions , precision, 3D animal and the Dirk Fromm memorial shoot , precision won by Martin Mcgarry, the 3D animal shoot won by Tomasz Szmagara and the Dirk shoot won by Dieter Kordez, we also had some fun doing some clout shooting and some long distance shooting and in between we had some fantastic Barbecue food in the picturesque setting of Swiftheath outside Kilkenny , on the Saturday we had our shoot in Kilkenny college and in the afternoon we got to give the kids a go , hopefully to inspire the next generation of Kyûjutsu archers , we’re already looking forward to next years Gathering of the clans where the “friendly rivalry and banter “ will resume.

The Dragons Lair reopens tonight at 8pm for the archery class.

The Dragons Lair dojo will reopen on Monday 29th of June at 7pm. We are following all guidelines set out by the government in relation to Covid-19. Please use the form below to provide details as this is required to train at the club, it will be used for contact tracing if need be.

Upon returning to the dojo there will be many changes that will take some time to get used to so please be patient with everyone involved. We will do our very best to accommodate the training to suit the new protocols.

Let's take it one step at a time after all the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
