Congratulations to Sinead Galvin on winning the double in the Irish Masters Open at the weekend. Sinead won the ladies doubles with her partner Miriam Rohan (Kingdom Castleisland) & the ladies singles. Fantastic achievement & great way to end the season

Exciting week for Killarney Badminton Club as the league finals took place this week. The division 4 mix league final took place in Tralee, seeing our division 4s beating Moyvane in a very exciting final. Our team played some brilliant badminton, working hard for every point.
On Wednesday the division 5 final took place in Castleisland against Moyvane again. This was a very close going down to the wire. Our team dug deep & had a fantastic victory.
Both teams will go forward to represent Kerry in the Munsters league finals at the end of April. Well done teams 🏸👏😀

The division 1 singles & doubles championship took place last weekend in Killarney. Congratulations to Sinead Galvin who was runner in the ladies singles. Then Sinead team up with Jennifer Nash & was runner up in the ladies doubles.

Last Sunday the division 1, 3 & 5 Kerry Championship took place in the Killarney Sports Centre last Sunday. Killarney Badminton Club were well represented in all division. We had a successful day with Sinead Galvin continuing here successful year, winning the division 1 mix final with her partner Tom Bourke (Kingdom Castleisland). Congratulations Sinead 👏
Well done to Alvin Rahman & his partner Josie Gilbert (Ballyheigue) and Caroline Lemass & her partner Arthur Chute (Listowel) who were winners & runner-up in the div 3 plate. In the div 5 plate Mary McNeer & Jack Linehan, Karen Parker & Will Robbins who were winners and runner up.

Congratulations to the Kerry U.19 team who were runner up in the Munster Intercounty today. Fantastic achievement for the Killarney players who were part of the Kerry team. Katelyn Dillon, Darina Burke, Conall Murphy & Patrick O Neill 👏 well done everyone 🏸😀🎊

The Listowel Invitational Tournament took place last weekend. Another great tournament run in Kerry which allow players to get plenty of games & meet people from around the county. Killarney Badminton Club were well represented & saw much success.

Div 5 runner up: Anli Liu with her partner Bobbin Augustine (Listowel)

The Ballyheigue invitational tournament took place recently and we had a good entry from the Killarney Badminton Club. It is a lovely tournament to support & a really enjoyable day.
Congratulations to Caroline Lemass & her partner Paul Hayes (Listowel) who were runner up in the division 3 competition.
