The difference in these is one being a horrible behaviour and the other being a healthy habit .. let’s discuss 💭
“Starving” youreself is a very unhealthy mindset and people who do hate it but love the results. It’s unhealthy as you’re more likely to injure yourself with lack of energy and nutrition to recover.
Calorie deficit doesn’t mean starving yourself , it just means choosing different foods that will still keep you full and can not only fuel you, it will help weight lose, muscle gain and more !
If you can starve yourself for a week , you can eat just a little less each week for a continuous amount! “Starving” isn’t healthy but choosing to not eat as much, will help you progress

Sound familiar? 🙋♂️Nothing worse then a circle of bad mindset, unhealthy habits and unrealistic goals.
Let’s change that to thinking 💭
(1) It’s a positive even if I don’t succeed everyday
(2) One habit at a time and you’ll see long term results.
(3) Goals are self made, even if it’s 2lb difference a month it’s the journey that matters and a result is a result.
Don’t think you can get things done because of past failures. Start small and see huge differences over time.

Uncomfortable feelings are the line that have to be crossed at points to get results 📈
As easy as it may be to do the same ding d**g and not shed a single sweat mark on a machine …chances of high results are slim to none.
Push the boundary and you will start seeing extra pounds lost or even some goal lifts becoming a reality!

Nothing like some nature to get you all zen 💆🏻♂️🍃
A lot of the time we forget how much of an antidepressant the outdoors can be… from just a sit down in youre garden to going for a hike through a forest it makes all the difference.
Apart from exercise being in nature is one of my favourites to calm from the stress so take that as a healthy habit and get outdoors 🏔️

What’s on the books for recovery?
A lot of people may underestimate what recovery can be and what it will do for you.
Recovery can come in the form of physical or mental, each giving us something we badly need in todays high speed lifestyle.
Physical being cold showers, sauna, massage gun use, yoga or even some good old couch surfing 🛋️
Mental being a good book, some mindfulness meditation or again just a good couch session 💤
Recovery is key for all , whatever you can do… do it and you will benefit greatly ✔️

We all know this feeling way to well 🤦🏻♂️
Even with all the information and “best” workouts, life can just get in the way.
This isn’t something that you should let get to you… s**t happens and you have to get back on the horse again !
Don’t try to change plans or eat less you’ll only mess with progress. Just start where you left off and go go go !

To beginners just showing up makes the difference!
Consistency can beat the best plans if you do not stick to them. Don’t worry about how much weight you have to pull or how many incline treadmill buttons you have to press.
Show up and show up again by doing this you will learn and grow with experience. Wether it from gym socialising or trainers you will get there !
