COUNT DOWN TO YOGA CAMPS
we are getting closer and closer to the start of yoga camps and the sun is out 😄😄 over the next few weeks I will highlight some of the amazing activities that we do whilst at camp in the traditional farms.
We not only have fun doing handstands, headstands, enjoying being out in nature we also get to see a different craft at the traditional farms. The blacksmith is always a big hit, to see the fire, the giant belows and off course tge beautiful fairy horse shoes that we get to see being made 😄 although today it would be hot in there.

Super excited about the yoga deck of cards that we have made for yoga camps with the incredible drawings from rang three in the gaelscoil Killarney.

Getting very excited yoga camps are getting nearer and nearer. The weeks of 9 & 23 July are nearly totally full couple spaces left, but the good news is the week of 16/7 I have space on this one. So if you have a little big kid this is a wonderful week of being upside down and having fun. Spread the word 😄

Big kids Summer yoga camps for 8 years plus. Sometimes we think yoga camps are for smaller kids, but the week for 8+ is a fun week for older children. We explore more complex poses, we can get more into the breath and mindfulness. We mix all this with a lot of outside fun building dens, milking cows, pet farm, blacksmith giant woodland play area. I have five teenagers who started in kids classes and are now in my grown up class. It is brilliant to see children to get time to slow down, use there imagination and feel free to be who they are, big kids yoga camp 16/7

I love seeing how much children take to meditating. It is amazing how they can go from busy to quiet watching their breath. With children I keep it simple its not formal or rigid. Its open and curious and its incredible to see how it helps.
Meditation helps children sleep better and builds their confidence
It increases their self-esteem and strengthens their relationship with their parents
It helps them cope better with stress and grow into strong and healthy individuals
Meditation helps increase the child’s attention span and self-control
It will make them empathetic and help decrease hyperactive behavior
