For the past number of years, we’ve been offering quieter, low sensory coaching slots here at The Sequel Way.
These sessions are built for people who may benefit from a calmer gym environment, reduced noise, no music during selected slots and a more predictable coaching space.
It’s something we’ve always believed in, meeting people where they are, adapting the session around the individual and making exercise feel more accessible.
Sensory Friendly Coaching is available through our one to one APA and small group specialised coaching options.
A quieter space.
Extra support.
A more comfortable way to exercise.

5 years ago today, on the 10th of May, we ran our very first outdoor class during Covid.
I had a small number of kettlebells, sandbags, a few mats, a few cones and not much else but we made it work.
At the time, it was just a couple of classes here and there. I had no idea what it would grow into.
5 years later, The Sequel Way has become a community of people who show up every week across so many different services, each with their own goals, stories and reasons for being here.
I couldn’t be prouder of what’s being built.
Thank you to each and every person who has supported us, trained with us, recommended us, trusted us or played even a small part in the journey so far.

We’re delighted to launch Parkinson’s Active Pathway 💙
A 6-week exercise, education and support pilot programme for people living with Parkinson’s Disease in Kerry.
This new pilot has been developed by The Sequel Way to provide a safe, supportive and structured pathway into exercise, while also giving participants access to education, discussion, peer support and lived experience.
📍 The Sequel Way, Farranfore, Co. Kerry
🗓 Starting Saturday 30th May
⏰ 11:30am – 1:00pm

Each session will include 60 minutes of structured exercise followed by 30 minutes of guided discussion, education and Q&A.
A key part of the programme will also include support from Fred O’Sullivan, who lives with Parkinson’s himself and is now part of The Sequel Way team, bringing an important lived-experience element to the pilot.
This programme is designed to be much more than a weekly exercise class.
