🐴💚 AREA 6 CLASSIC QUALIFIERS 💚🐴
We are incredibly proud of all our Leitrim Pony Club members who represented the club at the Area 6 Classic Qualifiers, held yesterday, Sunday 30th August, at Tubberbride Equestrian Centre.
From start to finish, our members were impeccably turned out, displayed fantastic riding and, most importantly, showed wonderful support and encouragement for one another throughout the day. 💚🤍
It was a brilliant display of everything Pony Club is about!

✨ Roisin McGovern & Jess – a first day out competing for Roisin and her beautiful young pony Jess, and they couldn't have asked for a better start, bagging a brilliant double clear round in the non-qualifier 70s!
✨ Lily Crawford & Tequila – their first day out competing for Leitrim Pony Club and a fantastic double clear round in the non-qualifier 90s! What a way to make your club debut! 💚
✨ Sophie Tiernan & Lolly – Sophie's first official spin out on her very special homebred pony Lolly, taking on the non-qualifier 60s. A particularly lovely milestone for this pair! ❤️
✨ Darcy Lawlor & Millie – producing a beautiful double clear in the non-qualifier 80s class. Super riding from this partnership!
A massive WELL DONE to every rider and pony who competed, and a huge thank you to all the volunteers, parents, families and supporters, who helped make the day possible. 💚🤍

Our new lead rein member Aurora and her pony Bunny alongside member Leah and her pony Millie enjoyed a lovely lesson with Becky Tiernan at MoorlandsEquestrian Centre this evening.

This weekend our members Grace Quinn and Emily Quinn took part in the National Tetrathlon Championships at Punchestown in a large class of 26 competitors.
Both girls had fantastic results with:
🟢 Grace winning the swimming 🥇and after a clear round cross country jumping over a huge 1.10m course - finished in 2nd place overall 🥈 🎉👏
🟢 Emily winning the shoot 🥇and after an excellent round over the massively technical 1.10m course - finished in 9th place overall 🎉👏
We are super proud of Grace and Emily's performances in Punchestown so soon after their trip to Australia with The Irish Pony Club Tetrathlon Team. More on that trip to follow 🐎🐎
