Mixed League 2026

A huge congratulations to Team 4, who reached the Quarter Final of the Mixed League, a fantastic achievement and a fitting reward for an excellent season. While the campaign run ended there, getting as far as the last eight is something the whole club can be proud of.

Looking back, this season was about far more than results. Leixlip moved up classes, faced stronger opposition, welcomed new players into the competition, formed new partnerships and saw outstanding commitment from everyone who pulled on a Leixlip shirt.

A special mention to Team 1, our first ever team competing in Class 1, the highest level Leixlip has reached in Mixed League tennis. They held their own throughout the season and represented the club superbly.

Across all four teams, every player, sub and supporter played a part. Whether it was securing wins, earning valuable points, stepping in at short notice, or showing up week after week ready to compete, everyone contributed to a successful campaign.

A sincere thank you to our captains Laoise, Sinead, Pat and Mary Mac for their leadership, organisation and dedication throughout the season. Mixed League tennis would not happen without the work done behind the scenes.

The round robin stages and playoffs are now behind us, but the season leaves plenty to celebrate. Great tennis, plenty of fun and laughs, new partnerships, and a strong club spirit were on display all summer. Every team contributed, and the club is stronger for it. 💙💛🎾

After a great season, the team have earned their place in the playoffs and will be looking to keep the run going away from home.
