Kylie produced a fantastic performance at the Cairn Community Games National Track & Field Finals at SETU Sports Campus, Carlow, to take 1st place and the national title! 🥇

An absolutely brilliant achievement on the national stage and a very proud moment for Kylie, her family and everyone at Le Chéile AC. 💙💚

A fantastic night of racing at the Celbridge AC 5K on Thursday evening, with a brilliant turnout from Le Chéile AC and some superb performances and PBs throughout the club!

⭐ Mick Silke – 16:02 PB - 1st M40 🥇
What a run from Mick! A fantastic new PB of 16:02, finishing 7th overall and taking 1st place in the M40 category. Brilliant running, Mick!

⭐ Aisling Loughlin – 18:46 - PB - 2nd Female Junior 🥈
Another outstanding performance from our junior athlete Aisling, clocking a superb 18:46 and playing a big part in our mixed-team success. A fantastic run!

🥈 2ND PLACE MIXED TEAM! 🥈
One of the biggest highlights of the night was Le Chéile AC finishing 2nd in the Mixed Team competition, just behind winners Dundrum South Dublin AC and ahead of hosts Celbridge AC in third.

Club coaches are very welcome to attend no registration is required. These sessions are also open to coaches who have completed an Athletics Ireland Coach Education course.

The Leinster/Dublin Performance Squad 2026 is aimed at U15–U18 athletes who have met the eligibility criteria based on performances at the Dublin, Leinster and National Championships this year.

Our neighbours at Lucan Harriers AC are hosting their Juvenile Races as part of their 5 Mile event, and they’re inviting children from across the local community to come along and take part! 🙌

✅ Non-members are very welcome

Girls and boys will race together on the track, with:

A fantastic weekend of performances from Le Chéile AC athletes across track, road and trail, with our athletes representing both the club and county with distinction! 👏

National Masters Outdoor Championships

Two of our Le Chéile AC men were in action over 800m:
🥉 Kevin Gough (M50) – 2:22.53, 3rd in his heat
🥉 Brian McGrath (M70) – 3:00.74, 3rd in his heat

🏟️ AAI National Outdoor League Final – Morton Stadium

Rory Ardiff, Orann Poole and Keeley Hogan were all selected to compete as part of the Kildare Athletics Team in Sunday’s National League Final at Morton Stadium, Santry.
The Kildare team produced a fantastic performance to finish 4th overall in the National League Final. 👏💚
Well done to Rory, Orann and Keeley on representing Kildare on the national stage!

⛰️ Leinster Trail League

A brilliant league campaign from Fiona Sheerin, who finished 3rd overall in the Women’s Leinster Trail League 🥉 and was the leading F50 in the overall standings.
Fantastic consistency throughout the league, Fiona! 👏

🏃‍♀️ Youghal Half Marathon

Another superb performance from Sinead Kane, finishing in an excellent 1:33:13.

Sinead’s usual guide, John O’Regan, unfortunately had to withdraw due to a slight injury. A huge thank you to Jessie O’Connor, who stepped in to guide Sinead through the race. 🙌
