Mungret St Pauls had a great turn out at the U15 and U19 Limerick Juvenile Championships last month, with a few of our juvenile players coming away with medals, well done to all involved and to all those who have worked hard to make this happen across the county! 👏

A massive thank you to Tipperary Town Badminton Club who hosted us tonight for a social evening! Lots of returns, chats, teas and biscuits, it was an absolutely smashing night of badminton! ☕️🏸

We really felt welcome so thank you to all players, they get 5 Stars for hospitality and skill on the court ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another season comes to a close... 😭

We want to say a big thank you to all who attended the Mungret St Pauls Juvenile Club over the past few months, from kids, to parents to volunteers, it was a great year of fun for all involved! Enjoy the summer and see you all in September 🙌

Also, thank you to all involved in the adults club over the year! To close out the season, we had two in-house league competitions, which were fantastic fun! Congrats to the winners 🥇

Mungret St Pauls 🤝 Stats Perform

MSP held a sport & social evening for the employees of Stats Perform last Wednesday. This was a great opportunity to help grow the sport around Limerick 📈

It was a fantastic evening with warm-up drills, an introduction to the sport, and a Stats Perform Badminton League. Congrats to the winner's and thanks to everyone for taking part! 🏆

We received really positive feedback about the evening, and some are looking to take up the sport too! 🏸

Big thanks to Cathal, Tom, Ariri and Tim, who represented the club, organised and helped out on the evening! 👏

Well done to all MSP players who represented Limerick in the grade G All-Irelands in UL last Sunday! 👏

Limerick came away with silver, a great result to finish the season 🥈

Smash the competition!! 🏸

Last Sunday, the Haynes Cup took place in UL. It's an Intercounty competition involving clubs in Munster, and MSP had a G and H team take part 🏸

The G team bet Mallow in the first round after some very good performances. However, they faced a very strong Ennis in the next round who went on to win the tie.

The H team lost in the first round to Thurles after some close games. The team was then put in the consolation competition and got a bye into the semi-final, facing Foynes. Both teams played incredible, but MSP narrowly missed out with Foynes winning overall by a set!

A big shout out to Mungret St Paul's player Rafal, who umpired in UL at the underage intercounty championships last weekend, Rafal is putting a huge amount of time and effort into becoming an umpire, giving up weekends and travelling the country as part of his training, we love to see it, good stuff Rafal 💪
