My own little Mighty Mouse has certainly grown into himself in a year from being a tiny sized foal. 😍 Hold your colour please as would like less a grey to wash 😉

Oughterard Show ☀️ 🇮🇪

Lunas last show of the season was Oughterard Show in Co Galway.

Our second appearance in the All Ireland Oughterard Performance Final as we had qualified last year.
Lu was a green , try hard 4yo taking on those fences back then and I had chosen to save her for today ( How right I was😉 ) and retired her early in jumping last year.

This year I was delighted to have her return as a spicy , sassy 5yo ( amongst an entered 14 ponies in catalogue im almost sure ) who was lucky enough to get a call back into the ring for the final 6 placings!
In good company and competition , she earned her pretty 6th place rosette! 💜

Now Luna has earned her well deserved winter break and we go back at it again next year. 😎

I Clifden Show 2026 - Na Dara Pictiúir ☘️ 🇮🇪

I really had a huge smile on my face watching them from the sidelines… getting a clear round in the Riders O16 Working Hunter class, where Twix was the only 4-year-old entered out of 35 ponies. He was competing in a class full of experienced ponies, including Dublin Show winners. 🎉

Even better, Twix made the final 10 placings, coming home in 10th place! 🙌 Alan has done tremendous schooling with him behind the scenes, bringing Twix on and schooling and jumping him for me. Thank you, Alan! 👏🏻

A huge thank you also goes to Kevin Brouder, who is another person involved behind the scenes, schooling and educating ponies for me as well.
