Hi everyone,

Just a post to tell you that we’re having our agm next Tuesday (the 13th) over zoom!!

In this agm we will discuss the plans for the upcoming year, the possibility of uniforms and gear and the most important part we will be electing new members onto our committee!!

We will be electing three positions:
-first year rep.
-treasurer.
-health and safety officer.

A little info on the positions!
Treasurer- takes care of all the money 💰 💰
Works closely with the captian and Secretary to take care of all the gear orders and invoices!!

Health and safety officer- take care of people at trainings and events, you are responsible for paperwork relating to injuries and the safety of everyone during training 🤸‍♂️

First year rep- you have to be in your first year in the club!! You are there to help other new members settle into the club!!

As some of you may know, we were nominated for 3 awards this year (so amazing!!) As a club that’s only existed since November 2019 we are blown away by the support we’ve received by all C&S within These nominations mean the world to us and we feel like we’re already winners ❤️

To be nominated for even one award was more than we expected but we are delighted that all of our members hard work and dedication has been recognized. ⭐️
We will be husting Virtually on Tuesday 28th along side our fellow nominees and friends in UL C&S.

All constitutional changes were also voted in and an updated constitution will be uploaded shortly. We will be electing Treasurer, Health & Safety Officer and First Year Rep. when we return next semester.

Due to the University’s closure we must cease all our trainings and upcoming events and competitions. Unfortunately this is out of our control as the health risks are too great. So to clarify;

ALL Trainings: CANCELLED
Tumbling Workshop: POSTPONED
Queerbash performance: CANCELLED
ISTO Cheer comp: WE WILL NOT BE ATTENDING

This is in the best interest for our members and decisions we have not made lightly.

This will be revised on March 29th.

PSA to our members 💔

We are sad to announce that Queerbash 17 is postponed until further notice.
Unfortunately as a result of this morning's announcement re CVOID19 we have to cease all of our activities. Cancelling Queerbash is the last thing we wanted to do and we are devastated but it is our responsibility to do what's in the best interest of everyone involved. Hopefully when this situation is we'll come back bigger and better than ever!
