Great local race this evening in memory of Curley hosted by Mooreabbey Milers AC. 🙌🌟

📣Congratulations and thanks to everyone that participated, volunteered, marshalled, made endless cups of teas yesterday for the 5th year of the Dooneen 10mile event in memory of Michal Rejmer.

🔈It was the 5th year of the event and the largest turnout to date. Conditions were tough, but that didn't dampen outstanding performances from all our runners. Congratulations to winners Conor O'Brien of West Limerick AC and Kealey Tideswell of Clonmel AC on winning in respective times of 53:22 and 01:00:29. The female course record was also broken. Well done Cillian Higgins and Tracey Johnson who were the first Dooneen athletes home and to Dooneen AC who won both club male and female team categories. 👏🏃💥

📣Its almost Race day for the 5th year of the Dooneen 10mile in memory of Michal Rejmer. See below race details for tomorrow. 📣🏃

Race Day Information:
1. Please note, the clocks will go forward 1hour on the 29th March.
2. Race headquarters is located at Limerick Racecourse, Patrickswell, V94K858.
3. Registration on the day is available from 9.30-10.30am for a fee of €40 (cash only).

Race Route Information:
1. The race will start at 11am from the Raceourse (adjacent to the car park).
2. There will be race pacers for 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90 and 100 minutes.
3. There are 2 waters stops on the course. 1st is located approximately 4 miles, and the 2nd is at 7 miles.

Post Race:
1. All finishers will receive a bespoke medal at the finish.
2. Post race refreshments will be available at the finish line, including our traditional tasty 99 ice-cream’s for all our finishers 😊

And don't forget to put your clocks forward tomorrow night, we don't want anyone missing the race 😀
