Massive well done to our U13's who had their first ever game on the full pitch out in Coonagh this evening, in a friendly game against Shannon Rfc. There was some great rugby played by both sides. Missing from the photo below are Tommie Franklin Hargreaves, Aidan Hanlon and Robbie O'Brien who also played their part.

Thomond Rfc is very saddened to learn of the death of Ger (Ginger) Cronin. Ginger was another member of our historic 1971 Munster Junior Cup team that paved the way for so much future success in the Competition. A stalwart of the northside clubs having great success with the round ball with Ballynanty Rovers also, Ginger was much more than just a good player he was always great company and a joy to be around. His passion and talent for music made him a popular figure on the local pub scene in addition to entertaining many during their holidays on the coast.
We would like to offer our sincere condolences to his wife Mary and children Veronica, Conor, Paul and Louise. May he rest in peace

Our seconds return also this week in the Transfield Cup v old revivals Garryowen, who we have shared many competitive games with throughout the years.
As we have won this competition 15 times and have completed two 3-peats with the first being in the 70s from 1972-1974 and the second being as recent as 2023-2025, it is a historic trophy within our cabinet.
Try and get out and support the lads.
We continue in the senior fixtures on the run up to AIL rugby with an away trip to Towns Park to face Midleton in a repeat fixture of last season, in the Senior Plate QF.
