I hope you like what you find. I'm an Irish Chartered Physiotherapist, Gaelic Footballer, Gym Owner and general lover of life. I have a lot of allergies and intolerances. A Gaeilge appreciation video
This is one of the moves (Secondary strengthening of the vital field) in my session today.
When I’m in the bottom position, you might notice some hopping or bouncing, that’s largely involuntary. When I’m there I’m breathing down into my pelvis, sensing my obturator foramen membranes as I breathe in. As always, I’m trying to marry the ease of my breath with the tension I may come across, and in this case, the focus is on the hips.
I’ve done this exercise in numerous different ways. This is just one example. It’s really about an exploration and connecting what I feel in the bottom position and bringing that with me right through to standing again. Right now, my hips feel really malleable, soft, supple and vitally easeful. I can still almost feel quaking in the muscles that were carrying tension, where involuntary movement that was taking place during the exercise, it’s like tectonic plates moving ever so across each other and that vibration is making its way up to my ears. My pelvis is vibratory, and I have very subtle nourishing pins and needles up through my feet and out through my hands.
