Wonderfully spacious, perfectly placed and incredibly enticing, Curraghchase Caravan & Camping Park is uniquely nestled in the beautiful grounds of the 774 Acre Curraghchase Forest Park, in Kilcornan, Co. Limerick.
Our campsite facilities include: camper’s kitchen, bathrooms, showers, 24 hr security, playground, fairy trail & café. We are also a pet friendly campsite.
At Curraghchase we invite our guests to enjoy the many walking and cycling trails through the Forest Park that make us unique. Take time to feed the ducks and swans by the lake, work up an appetite on one of the numerous playgrounds and marvel at the ruins of the De Vere Family Mansion. Curraghchase is the perfect retreat to get back to nature and take time to enjoy the company of family and friends in these beautiful surroundings.
Curraghchase House was the home of the De Vere family for over 300 years. The famous poet Aubrey Thomas De Vere was born at Curraghchase in 1814 and there are many mementos throughout the park, marking where he sat to contemplate many of his famous poems. The house was unfortunately destroyed by fire in 1941 and only the outer walls remain today.
Just a short drive from Limerick City, the Beautiful Village of Adare and of course Foynes on the Wild Atlantic Way, Curraghchase Caravan & Camping Park is the ideal base to explore the South West and enjoy all we have to offer!
