Congratulations and well done to our swimmers yesterday who took part in the Kingdom Open gala.
We had 13 swimmers compete bringing home 7 medals in total, 5 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.
For some of our younger swimmers it was their first competition. They absolutely took it in their stride and now have times to help improve on for the next competition.
For our more experienced swimmers at galas, they hit huge PBs and some came home with the medal haul.
But it's not all about medals and PBs, it's about putting themselves out there to represent our club, to show the efforts both themselves and our coaches put in to prepare them for these competitions and it's about supporting each other.
We are so very proud of you all.
To the parents, thank you for your continued support, both at training and competitions.
Thank you also to Kingdom swim club for another fantastic well organised gala.

MUNSTER LONG COURSE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Well done to our two swimmers Finn Byrne & Finn O'Sullivan who represented the club at the University of Limerick at the weekend. Both boys put in some personal best performances and can be extremely proud of there efforts. The coaches are so proud of these lads and there continued progress is testament to all there hard work and dedication.
Finn Byrne was crowned Munster Champion in 100m & 200m Backcrawl and 50m Frontcrawl 🥇. And received silver in 200m Medley, 100m & 200m Frontcrawl 🥈.
Finn O'Sullivan achieved a nationals consideration time in the 200m Frontcrawl and was very unfortunate not to get a second in the 100m Butterfly missing out by a fraction of a second. He also posted more personal best times over the weekend.
