A cool restoration project for a client who wished to have his Granfathers old Hunting Riding Crop restored for another generation to enjoy.

A new Friction Folder on my bench being made, a take off of the New Zealand Svord Peasant knife, with an olive wood handle. Not quite finished yet. Next step grinding and sanding. Should be a nice one when done.

A Cardigan Stick done for a gentleman turning 70yrs of age soon. A Spalted Beech handle on a mottled Hazel Stick with a Silver Collar. Finished with his surname written in "Ogham" 4th century Celtic writing.

I was recently commisioned to make a Filleting Knife as Graduation present for my cousins son Darragh O'Gorman.
A stainless steel blade with Resin handle and brass pins. Leather Sheath to compliment this unique gift in a personalised pine box ....

My latest Stick gone off to it's new owner who turned 83 this weekend. It had a Red Deer Antler handle with a brass collar joining it to a beautiful Hazel Stick. Set in the Crown of the Antler is a 1939 Irish coin depicting a harp and the year this gentleman was born. Along the stick is the gentlemans name written in old Irish "Ogham" 4th century writing. Wishing the owner many happy miles of walking ahead....

Just gone off to a client a Knife Sheath as requested that can be worn on the upper arm or thigh, along with Carriage Key holders for his belt...Here are a few pictures to show the process.
