Teenage Prodigy Thomas Mcmahon along with 3 more of his stablemates Emils Bodrovs , Adam McEvoy & Ciaran White all training out of Eastside MuayThai & Fitness Limerick will represent Club & Country at the WBC MuayThai World Games in Verona , Italy in just under 5 weeks. Thomas is on the hunt for his 3rd Gold in succession after winning his division in Bangkok last year and Venice the previous year. We have no doubt he will deliver along with his clubmates who are training night & day to bring home the Gold 🥇 to Ireland 🇮🇪 ☘️.

Thomas is a decorated world and eu and Celtic champion🏆

He has run 2 full marathons already and will run 1 more in 2 weeks

What a day for our Club in Cork City yesterday ! We had 6 Eastside MT fighters on the card Siam Warriors Cork Superfights & couldn't be prouder with our lads taking 4 wins a Draw & a very close contested split decision learn aswell as young Thomas McMahon winning ISKA 4NATIONS TITLE and bringing another Belt home to Limerick 🙌

1st up to open the show was Eoin Bryan bryan . Eoin stepped in to take a fight extremely short notice (10am morning of show 😆) Just his 2nd decision bout and did not dissapoint , dominating fight from the 1st bell to secure a convincing victory and another great prospect going forward 🫡

Next up we had Adam McEvoy against solid opposition from UK . 2 tough tough lads. Both pushing the pace in 1st rnd. Adam improving every fight , showed great composure landing some powerful kicks and knees eventually stopping his opponent midway through 2nd round to keep to winning ways and his 2nd stoppage on the trot 💪👊💥

Next up for our lads was Emils Bodrovs . A cracker of a match-up between 2 up & coming powerhouses. These lads faced off in April ending in a draw. Another cracker last night , Emils doing enough to take the Win home to Limerick after another hard fought battle 🔥🔥🔥

Next up was Jake Mcnamara on his 1st outing at Siam Superfights. Absolute cracker of a performance in a fight that I thought he dominated from 1st bell. The judges scored a draw v the hometown boy but couldn't be happier with Jakes performance & composure. Training less then a year , down the bones of 20kg and too excited to see where this journey brings him. Only just getting going 💪👊👊

Next up we had the Lumberjack , Conor Quinn A-Class Full rules action in an absolute cracker of a fight v equally game and slick opposition Gustavo Beck from Brazil. Gustavo with the stronger start, Conor settling as the fight progressed, taking control of the ring and not 1 back step taken . Both lads cutting each other with some sharp elbows and everyone on edge of their seats. A real crowd pleaser in which I thought Conor did enough to secure victory pushing his opponent on the back foot for most the fight. Gustavo granted the majority decision by the judges . Win or learn , a great fight nonetheless and respect to Gustvo & his team after a great back n forth fight.

Last up for us was young prodigy Thomas Mcmahon up against a top kid from Liverpool for the ISKA 4NATIONS Title. Absolute belter of a fight from the get go ! 2 lads years ahead of their age . Finn finding range and timing early but Tom weathering the storm , finding his groove and growing as the fight progressed. Checking countless kicks and showing exceptional balance from start to finish . Tom dominating 4 & 5 with 1st 3 rnds split between them. Takes the Title back to Limerick after a well earned & hard fought win v Red Hot opposition ☘️ 🙌

Well done to ye all lads. Did club and city proud ! Let's keep building now and massive thanks to to all that travelled to support and more-so the EASTSIDE MT FAMILY for always picking each other up and driving each other on. Blessed with the crew we are building and the bond between ye ! Let's keep it going 🙏🫶💚

Getting offers of lads that have fought in Thailand or touching 20 yrs 🤷‍♂️ Kid is training just over a year , we need 1-2more N class bouts before stepping up. Surely someone is game 🫨
