Old Crescent RFC Tag Rugby

Welcome back to all our teams to another season of Tag Rugby at Old Crescent RFC. We are delighted to have you all back and look forward to an enjoyable tag rugby season.

However, as we are still dealing with restrictions around Covid 19, we would ask that you would observe the following instructions when visiting Old Crescent RFC:

1 - Please travel to Old Crescent individually as much as possible, and on arrival, please park in the designated parking area for your pitch.
2 - The parking areas for the various pitches are as per the picture.
3 - Please arrive no sooner than 15 minutes before your scheduled kickoff
4 - Always enter pitch by designated entrance, sanitizing your hands on entry.
5 - Do not enter pitch until the teams playing in the previous game have exited the pitch
6 - Santizise your hands on exiting the pitch and avoid as much as possible congregating in groups post match
7 - If playing a second game, adhere to social distancing guidelines and if possible, wear a mask
8 - A one way system will operate with entry up the long avenue and exit out the gate next to Half Moon coffee.

Please adhere to the instructions of the venue manager and the stewards while in Old Crescent RFC.

Are you an individual player looking to play tag rugby in Old Crescent RFC this summer?

We are looking for players to join our individuals team – no experience necessary, just a sense of fun and a willingness to meet like minded people in a fun social outdoor environment!  Go to https://www.tagrugby.ie/Find-A-Team.aspx  to register as a individual!!

We have received some questions regarding the number of games a player can play on a particular night so happy to clarify this. 

It is possible to play more than 1 game in one night provided they are for teams in different leagues but remember that there is a quota on the number of Premiership players that can play on a social team.

And We are Back!!!!!

Glad to announce that tag rugby returns to Old Crescent RFC for a 8 week summer league commencing on Tuesday June 8th for social , a ladies league and a Division 1 league and on Thursday June 10th for Social and Premiership. Our Thursday night Social league is full but there are spaces available in all our other leagues.

With the Government now slowly easing restrictions and sharing their pathway for reopening the country, we are eagerly awaiting their announcement for adult team social sports to resume.

As soon as we get the official opening dates from Government we will be back in touch with the start date for our leagues.

We look forward to hosting you again in our tag leagues in the coming weeks.

- Do not arrive more that 10 mins before your game.
- If you are playing more than one game and have a break, please wait in your car.
