💙⚽ A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE SAINTS ⚽💙

Saturday marked a very special milestone for St Ita’s AFC, as our brand-new underage 9v9 pitch hosted its first ever competitive game.

What started with an idea has taken countless hours of work, fundraising, grant applications and support from our wonderful community — and now, it has finally come to fruition. 🙌

We’re incredibly proud to provide this fantastic new facility for all our underage members, giving our young Saints more space and opportunities to train, develop and, most importantly, enjoy playing football.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible. Grants from SSE Renewables, Ballagh Wind farm, Jp McManus Benevolent fund along with everyone’s continued support in our fundraising events. And finally to our Groundsmen Sean Curtin and bryan leen for all their work in getting the pitch to the condition it’s in today.

The pitch is ready. The next generation of Saints can now make their memories. 💙⚽

20 Years ago this week our ladies team made history when they won the Women’s FAI challenge cup. This fantastic achievement capped off a wonderful season in which they also won the Div 1 title in a playoff off and we’re runners up in the Desmond Cup final

Busy week for the clubs groundsmen. Sports Line Services done an impeccable job lining our Adult and Underage pitches. Goalmouth was repaired with new sod, amd walkway was tided up.
