Cap is back!

Long time club member, Ronan is back for year 8 as an Eagle!

Ronan captained the side to a double winning season last year. He adds size and power to our frontline and will provide much needed leadership and experience in the Superleague this season.

Return of the King! 👑

Steve is back for 2026-27 and will be the only player in the Eagles squad remaining from the last time the team played in the top flight.

The veteran will join up with the team after representing Ireland in the o40 FIBA Masters tournament in Athens this summer. He will add a wealth of valuable experience having previously won a superleague Cup and League double with the Eagles.

Vermont's finest is back with Eagles for year 3!

Alex is coming off two superb seasons with Eagles including winning division 1 player of the year in 2026.

We are excited to welcome him back for his third year in Limerick and to see what he can do in the Superleague!

Next up for the 2026-27 squad is another Limerick Lions Basketball Club product, Kirill Yakovlev.

Kirill made his senior Eagles debut at just 16 years old. He has already made himself an integral part of the squad and we are looking forward to see him continuing his journey in the superleague!

A great night at the Basketball Ireland Awards for the club 🦅

Huge congratulations to Niall McDermott on being named Men’s Division One Coach of the Year, Darragh Horkan on winning Division One Young Player of the Year, and Alex Carlisle on being named Division One Player of the Year🏆

Niall and Darragh were there on the night to collect the awards, including accepting Alex’s award on his behalf.

A brilliant recognition of all the hard work that’s gone in this season and all very well deserved 👏💙
