Reading through feedback from some of our summer adventures today & loved this one 🥹

I spent YEARS on solo travels & adventures myself, and I loved them so much. They taught me so much about myself & I feel a great sense of achievement thinking of all the things I've done on my own. But it is so special to share experiences with other people 🙌🏼 Some of my best memories over the last few years are belly laughing on the trails with new friends 🥰👣 expanding your social circles (even just a little) brings so so SO many positive benefits to your life ✨️

SAVE THE DATES 📅 Verrrrry excited to be heading back to Púca Festival this year, for the second year in a row! We absolutely LOVED it last year so booked our accommodation for this year the day after it ended in 2025 🤍

We will stay in self-catering apartments in Trim for two nights, eat big delicious hotel breakfasts together, plan our itinerary as a group (there's SOOOO much on over the weekend!), dress-up, dance, watch the processions, the lighting of the Samhain fire... it's going to be great 👻

today marks two years of self-employment 🥳 i left teaching in june 2024 to go full-time with Soul Stuff Adventures & Group Trips but i will probably always think of the 1st of september 2024 as the beginning, the first time in 13 years i wasnt relying on school to earn a living. hadn't a notion what i was at really but decided to wing it & see how long i could keep at it til it all fell apart. so far so good 🫶🏼

highlights of the last year: attended a national adventure tourism conference (actually feeling like i belonged there), spent six months in a development programme for female entrepreneurs (which shifted my mindset & helped me to actually feel like someone running a successful business) & have had hundreds of people join us for sold-out adventures all around ireland & europe! created new trips, got to improve & repeat many others, ive got the chance to meet & work with so many other amazing businesses & have made so many more friends & made more memories with people who've been coming to soul stuff events for years

i feel super proud of where soul stuff is at now but it has not come without its challenges. i have been so overwhelmed at times doing it all by myself & have had to make sacrifices & prioritise work over personal stuff which has been so hard. i have been so grateful for the team of friends/hosts around me these past few months - it's given me such a breather that i didnt think was going to be possible when you run a business on your own

i get messages often about how joining this group has changed people's lives, got them out of a funk, has given them a new perspective, a new community, a chance to escape or to challenge themselves in some way. it did all that stuff for me too & still does

i think its so mad + cool that a little idea i had nearly five years ago is still going strong & making people happy like this. i never in a million thought this could/would be my actual job when i started it so it's just fu***ng wild to be writing this post tonight tbh 😅

thanks all for following along & for being sound & supportive. i appreciate it more than you will ever, ever know 💛

Come join Soul Stuff on a glamping weekend in West Cork - this is our FOURTH annual visit to Top of the Rock Pod Páirc 😍

- Two nights accommodation in glamping pod (two person sharing)

- Big breakfast spread on both mornings

- Return ferry to Sherkin Island from Baltimore for a few hours of exploring on Saturday

We will head for dinner & drinks in Bantry plus more activities together on Sunday before we part ways. A slower-paced weekend of exploring as we head into the autumn 💚

Home from two nights on the Great Blasket Island with this incredible bunch of women. Sometimes trips end up being women-only unintentionally, and this one felt like we were all just meant to be there together 🥹 a mix of all ages, stages & walks of life joined together to share a special few days ❤️

We watched sunsets, cooked together, ate together, drank a silly amount of tea, learned about the lives of the islanders, lit candles when the sun went down, got into fits of giggles before bedtime, swam in the sea, watched the seals, celebrated two birthdays, lit fires, hiked to the highest point of the island, took so many photos & shared so many special conversations and moments together. All the while knowing how incredibly lucky we are to have this experience of sinking into island life for a couple of days. It's impossible not to feel reverence and a connection to the people who lived their lives on this island, when we are literally walking in their footsteps. What an honour 💚

This was the fourth Soul Stuff Adventures group trip to the Blaskets - two last summer and two this summer. It's my favourite trip to do & I love it even more the more I visit & the more I see how other people experience it. It's impossible to describe how truly special this place is ✨️

Thank you so much to Aisling and Conor, this year's caretakers. We hope you enjoy your last couple of weeks on the island 🫶🏼 and to Alice and Billy & the boatmen for getting us there and back safely every time. See you next year! The Great Blasket Island
