Irish Orienteering Championships

🗺️ Our mappers have arrived!

Mapping is now underway on Errisbeg Mountain, Roundstone, ahead of IOC 2027.

Meet Zdeněk Rajnošek 🇨🇿 and Zdeněk Janů 🇨🇿, two highly experienced international cartographers who have together and individually mapped or contributed to hundreds of orienteering maps in Czechia and further afield.

Their international work includes the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China, and World Cup Round 3 in Vyšší Brod, Czechia, in 2026.

They bring a huge amount of experience, skill and talent to the challenge of mapping this rugged and complex Connemara terrain.

We’re definitely in for a treat at IOC 2027! 🧭⛰️🇮🇪
