Urban Run 2020
St. Michael's Rowing Club regrets that the 2020 Urban Run will not be going ahead as hoped, as an obvious consequence of Covid-19.
We are very grateful for the support we have received since Urban Run began and look forward to welcoming competitors again in 2021.

5k & 10k results are now posted to our website www.smrc.ie/urbanrun

One typo in our 10k results is corrected now; first page re-posted.
It was a very impressive showing by our first four finishers in particular; Niall Shanahan with his 3rd Urban Run victory on the trot and a new pb & course record to boot, in a blistering 30:23.... previous two-time winner Declan Moore had a great battle to the line with Ennis man Rory Chesser - the Ennis Track athlete just edged it to take 2nd place on his first visit to the Urban Run, with Declan also finishing under 32 minutes for his best time to date on the route. Colm Turner followed them home just 30 seconds later for another best time on our route. Well done all who showed up and took on the pb challenge at the SMRC Urban Run.
