Tonight marks the end of another playing season here at the Markets Field, a ground where sport has been played since 1883, 141 years. This year we have hosted almost 80 hours of play on a surface that has been loudly complimented by all that play on it. The pitch is a credit to John McNamara, Steven Daly and Eddie Pickford who work day in an out in all weathers to ensure it is in perfect condition. Nick Grene and his team oversee the major work and provide great advice when needed. A big thank you to all.

Memorabilia sought for Krups Exhibition!
Limerick Enterprise Development Partnership (LEDP), in partnership with Limerick Museum, are co-ordinating a public appeal for past employees of Krups and their families to share stories, artefacts and memorabilia from their time working for the engineering firm.
We will be holding 3 Open Days at the LEDP (the site of the old Krups Factory) from the 9-11 April 2024 - from 10.30am to 3pm each day.
The memorabilia will be curated by the Limerick Museum and presented in a Krups Exhibition in September to mark the closure of the famous factory and subsequent creation of LEDP, 25 years on.
If you or anyone you know, have memories or memorabilia to share - please stop by!

We hope you are enjoying the pictures of Sean Clancy collated by his son and fellow photographer Kieran and colourised to add new life. The photos are a tribute to all the people who sat in all weathers on pitch sides to bring the action over the years. Theirs was unique profession with great humour and skill and they were known to all who attended games
