U12 Division 3 Cup
Moyross 1-0 Ballynanty Rovers
The 12 b season ended last evening after a cup quarter final defeat to Moyross.
Both teams served up a cracking cup game in front of a huge crowd on the northside. Balla had the majority of the chances throughout the game but were kept at bay by an exceptional display of Goalkeeping from the Moyross net minder.
Well done to the team and coaches Eugene Johnson and Paul Ryan on a fantastic season. And a huge thanks from the club to the parents for their amazing support throughout the season.

Ballynanty 2 Regional 5
The score line does not reflect the game - where Ballynanty led 2-0 for over half of the match against unbeaten joint league leaders. We lined out with Lee Moroney ( u9s player) in goals who was excellent, Tommy O’Sullivan , Mark Fitzgerald un defence , Reilly Mcnamra on the right , Dylan Clancy on the left Jada Daly in midfield and Martin Connors up front. Great play out from the back from osullivan led to an assist from Jada Daly who set up the chance for a wonder goal by the energetic Mark Fitzgerald . We then doubled the lead before the break with great play between Moroney, Daly, McNamara , Fitzgerald, and a great finish by the hardworking Dylan Clancy. Martin Connors worked tirelessly and came close on several occasions , and on another day would have had at least a brace. However, as the game wore on the Regional pressure counted as they hit us with 3 fast goals and as our legs tired - and with minutes remaining tagged in two more the last of which was final kick or the game. Credit to our young group despite not having any subs due to holidays and injuries gave it there all and were a credit to the club.

U15s Division 2
Ballynanty Rovers 6-0 Granville
Our 15s hosted Granville as they played each other for the second time this week.
Knowing only a win would do to keep us top of the league.
It’s was a dominating performance from minute one to the last kick our lads worked their socks off from the starting eleven to the subs that came on.
We scored some fantastic goals and without a doubt our best performance of the season.

Match Report Balla Girls U12s-
Quarter final Ballynanty 1 -
Caherconlish 1. (Caherconlish go through after extra time and pens).
A valiant effort against league Champions was not enough on the day for this dogged resilient U12 Girls side that have went from strength to strength this year. Emma Meehan was out standing in goals, Madison O’Sullivan was a rock at the back with the speedy dedicated Mayleigh Cronin. We went down early but a great fight by the girls saw us draw level through - potent Lexi odwyer who also hit the crossbar as did the tenacious classy Jada Daly with a power strike that was denied by the top corner of the post to deny these remarkable girls the victory . The talented Alanagh Quinn tried until the end with a fantastic attitude - Lucy Dillon ran her heart out and fought until the end. Sophie kinsella also worked hard on the wing- covering back and helping the team. Also, Abbey O Shea , Amelia hogan did very well. With the majority of the squad 2015 the future looks bright for the Balla girls. Special mention to Frankie Daly and Jeffrey ODonnell who put a big effort into the squad and remarkably in their first season got to the last 32 of the National Cup and finished third in their league. Thanks to all the parents throughout the year, and the support of the club committee and supporters.
