A busy day of boxing for the Trojan Warriors 🙌🥊

We had 4 in action in Galway today at the Novice Box Cup. Well done to Harry on a super win well deserved 🙌
Conor was pipped at the post on a 2/1 split decision but put in a fantastic performance.
No luck for Aiden or Michael in their respective finals but a super effort by both lads. All getting top quality rounds 🥊

Bobby was involved in a superb contest against a strong opponent in Cork today as part of the supporting bouts for the Ireland V Netherlands international. The contest was all go from the first bell with both lads landing some super combos. Bobby was very unfortunate to be on the wrong side of a 3/2 split decision. Very happy with Bobbys performance and an amazing experience to be boxing on an international.

Well done to all boxers and coaches and thanks to Munster Boxing for the fantastic opportunity on a very well ran show.

Well done to our coach Niamh Ball who had the chance to judge at her first international, great experience all round 🥊🥊

🥊 A very busy weekend of boxing ahead 🥊

⭐️The very best of luck to Bobby Ball & Killian Walsh who have been selected to box on this weekends Munster International as support bouts 🥊 a great opportunity for them both.

⭐️Our coach Niamh Ball has also been selected as a HP coach with Munster and to help officiate at the upcoming international. This is a fantastic reward for all Niamh’s hard work and time she puts into boxing.

📍We then have 5 boxers heading for Galway this weekend to box in the Galway Novice Box Cup. This is going to be a brilliant experience for Conor, Oscar, Harry, Michael and Aiden 🥊

Massive well done to Conor, Lee & Michael who all boxed in their respective semi finals of the Manchester box cup yesterday.

With Conor having his second fight, Lee having his first contest back after 10 yrs out and Michael making his debut for Trojan, All 3 had tough opponents and gave it 100%. They didn’t get the decisions but they gained so much from this experience 🥊

Well done boys you did yourselves and the club proud and no doubt there’s plenty more to come 🥊💪🏻
