Congratulations to our Junior Girls Captain Aimee Keary on a fantastic Captain’s Day on Sunday!

Aimee very kindly sponsored the 1st Prize, 2nd Prize and beautiful goodie bags for all the girls, which were greatly appreciated.

It was extra special as we also got to celebrate Aimee’s birthday on the day! 🎂🎉

We had a fantastic turnout of girls, with some great golf played, plenty of smiles and a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day.

Every girl received a gift, thanks to our Lady Captain Maura and Junior Convenor Angela, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated by everyone.

We were blessed with beautiful weather and it was a wonderful day for our junior girls to enjoy their golf together.

A huge thank you to Madge, Pauline and Maura for all their help and support on the day.

We are incredibly proud of our junior girls and look forward to many more days on the course, continuing to encourage more girls into golf and supporting the next generation of golfers at Loughrea Golf Club.

Unfortunately it wasn't to be for our Mary McKenna Diamond Trophy ladies in today's final. Connacht Champions and Runners up in an All Ireland final is a tremendous return for all the hard work and effort.

The team will be arriving back at the clubhouse at 2pm tomorrow. If you're able we'd encourage you all to welcome them home.
