Thanks to Mary Lou McDonald & Ruairí Ó Murchú for their kind words today in relation to our fundraiser & also that of Muirhevnamor’s for Cuidigh linn while in Dundalk today,unexpected but very much appreciated!👏🏻

MARIA GORETTI FOUNDATION VISIT | Representitives from Bay Football Club,Na Pairsaigh GAA & Pearse Og hurling made the trip out to Lordship to visit the Maria Goretti centre during the week,it was great to get shown around & to see exactly where the money raised would be put to use.
It truly is a fantastic set up which we are lucky to have on our doorstep & we were delighted to help out with the fundraiser.A massive thank you to Paula Hanlon for giving us the tour!

FINAL TOTAL | A massive thank you to everyone who took the time to donate to the Maria Goretti foundation,with so much going on currently it really is overwhelming how generous the people of Dundalk were towards this great cause.
Thanks also to local business’s mckenna man,bellurgan steel & brodigans londis for their kind donations.

We hope all participants enjoyed the run & who knows we might be back next year after the success of this years charity event.

LEADERBOARDS | Revised as a handful of distances were inaccurate.fair play to Mario Kolak who covered a mind boggling 218.50KM this week!👏🏻Mark Nugent covering 213KM on his handbike & all the Pearse Og runners also logging huge distances,mike woods in there also with plenty of KM’s.

Credit is due of course to everyone who got out & ran today with plenty running every single day of the week,without your commitment this event simply would not have happened so well done!

I hope all runners are kicking back with a well deserved drink,but most have probably turned in at this stage!🥂🍻🍹

UNITE THE PARISH | Our charity event has come to an end,after a week of all 3 clubs clocking up some impressive milage the running stops & the totals are in.

Before we get into the numbers we’d just like to thank everyone who walked/ran during the week.everyone put some serious time & energy into backing the event & it really made the event what it was so a big thank you!👏🏻

Congratulations are due to Pearse Og who,despite having the least amount of runners registered,clocked up the most KM’s with an impressive 1,486KM!💪🏼

All 3 clubs clocked 4,371KM,to put that into perspective thats the distance from Ireland to Jordan!🤯

We’ve smashed the goals set beforehand & although our donations goal has been met donations can still be made online until sunday 5th July.With offline donations still to be added we’ll be back with our total once its all counted.

SATURDAY TOTALS | Massive numbers today!admittedly they are the result of many a runner admitting their weekly totals to me today,all clubs benefited from it but if your guna smash 3000km you may as well absolutely obliterate it!🤯
