Joe and Aidan enthralled us with their epic tales of brake faults, insane descents and where to get the cheapest Super Bock from their adventures on the N2 Portugal trip.

Fantastic to see such a great turnout in Oldtown for our Race Night. It was brilliant to see everyone getting involved, with the competitive spirit alive and well throughout the evening. The prizes only added to the excitement.

With bowler hats, whips, ropes, pizza and blindfolds, it was always going to be a night to remember and it certainly didn’t disappoint. From start to finish, there was fantastic energy in the room and 100% participation from everyone involved.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the night such a great success. Special thanks to Louise (Starter), Margaret (Chief Steward), Dave (Weights Room), Joe (Photo Finish) and Deirdre (Music). Thanks also to Sophie and Glen in Oldtown for being such wonderful hosts.

Allez Aideen!! 🇬🇧🚴🏼‍♀️🇫🇷. Well done to Aideen who completed a 300k London to Paris Cycle over 2 days last weekend in Aid of CASA Malahide. A huge achievement for a very worthy cause. Chapau!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Congratulations to the intrepid Syls Members who have just completed the Epic N2 cycle in Portugal.🚴🚴🏼‍♀️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Cycling Portugal's N2 is a 738km epic route running from Chaves in the north to Faro in the south, often considered the "Route 66" of Portugal. It traverses 35 municipalities, 11 rivers, and 4-5 mountain ranges, offering varied scenery from vineyards to rural plains.

First of the Couch to 50 Cycles 2026. Well done to everyone. An impressive 31km on your 1st C250 outing. Huge achievement! 🚴🚴‍♀️

While we hope the only thing that needs "fixing" on a ride is a flat tire, these slys leaders are now fully trained in CPR and emergency response to keep us safe on every spin.

The break in the weather meant we had a great turnout for all spins this weekend. And even though we did get caught in a downpour just before coffee it wasn't enough to dampen anyone's spirits!
