🎾🏆 Another incredible milestone for two of our junior stars! 🏆🎾

By now, you’re probably all used to hearing about these two special talents, Patricia Chen and Senan Taylor! But they added another fantastic chapter to their young tennis journeys at the weekend at the Tennis Europe U12 event at the National Tennis Centre in DCU.

Competing against players from across Europe, both had an outstanding week!

🥇 🥇Patricia took home the singles title, beating a Swedish opponent in the final, and also won the doubles event!

🥈 🥇Senan finished runner-up in the singles, losing out to a German opponent in the final, but claimed the doubles title!

And what makes these results even more remarkable? Both Patricia and Senan are two years younger than their singles final opponents, with another two years left to compete in the U12 category!

An absolutely fantastic achievement for both players. Huge congratulations to Patricia and Senan — keep up the amazing work. The club is incredibly proud of you both! 👏🎾💚

🎾 A big well done to all our juniors! 👏

A huge thank you to all the players who have represented Malahide Tennis Club so well in the various junior leagues over the past few weeks. You’ve all done yourselves and the club proud!

🇮🇪 Our boys’ and girls’ U12 Stars & Stripes teams wrapped up their campaigns last weekend, and it was a great experience for all our players.

🎾 The DLTC Junior League group stages have come to a close, and we’re delighted that our U14 girls have made it through to the playoffs. Best of luck to them!

💪 Meanwhile, our U10 mixed team are still very much in contention in their Leinster League. Best of luck to them as they continue their campaign!

Well done again to everyone involved. Keep up the great work! 💚🎾

🌍 More international success for some of our amazing young juniors! 🇮🇪🎾

At the recent Limburg Cup in the Netherlands, three of our exceptional U11s — Senan Taylor, Patricia Chen and Elliott Stafford — proudly represented Ireland, competing against young players from Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

There were plenty of fun activities off court, but when it came to the tennis, our young Irish team really delivered! 💪🎾

Ireland came out on top in the tennis, and Senan, Patricia and Elliott did themselves — and their club — incredibly proud. Shoutout also to the team coaches, Malahide Tennis Club’s very own Alex Watt and Alexia Taylor, great job 👏 👏👏

🎾 Best of luck to all our junior teams! 🎾

Our U14 Girls — Emily & Anna, Aifric & Elizabeth, and Georgia & Nisha — are off to a great start in their group matches. 👏

We also have U14 Boys, U18 Boys and U18 Girls teams competing in the DLTC Junior leagues over the coming weeks, gaining valuable match experience along the way.

And a big shout-out to our super U10 team, who got off to a flying start last week in the U10 Leinster League! 🚀🎾

Keep it going everyone — play hard, have fun and enjoy the matches! 💪

⭐️🎾 Stars & Stripes is underway! 🎾⭐️

It’s always great to see our juniors getting out there and competing, and the U12 Boys’ and Girls’ leagues are now up and running.

These leagues are a fantastic opportunity for some of our less experienced juniors to gain matchplay experience, compete against players from other clubs and, most importantly, enjoy being part of a team. And both teams have been doing us proud so far! 👏

Well done to Evan, Conor, Tristan & Oliver, and to Aisling, Chloe, Aoife, Niamh, Anna & Layla — and to all the other boys and girls who have represented the club so far.

Keep up the great work! 💪🎾

🎾 Congratulations Robert! 🎾

A huge well done to Robert Duggan, who recently took part in the prestigious Babolat Cup UK Finals in Edgbaston.

Competing against some of the UK’s brightest U12 tennis prospects, Robert held his own brilliantly, finishing an excellent 3rd place from a field of 15 UK County winners! 👏🏆

What a fantastic achievement and a great experience, Robert. Well done! 💪🎾🇮🇪

🎾🇮🇪 A huge congratulations to two of our amazing young players, Senan Taylor and Patricia Chen, who proudly represented Ireland at the weekend and helped bring the Four Nations Cup home! 🏆

Competing against England, Scotland and Wales, Ireland came out on top, with the team made up of the top two U12, U14 and U18 boys and girls in the country.

Senan and Patricia both competed in the U12 category and did Malahide Tennis Club incredibly proud. 👏

There’s an extra Malahide connection too, with Ireland’s coaches, Alex Watt and Stephen Nugent, both having strong links with the club.

A fantastic achievement all round — congratulations Senan, Patricia and to Alex and Stephen! 🇮🇪🏆

🏆 Senan Taylor was crowned Boys U12 Singles Champion
🏆 Patricia Chen took the Girls U14 Singles title
🏆 Rafa Nagle was victorious in the Boys U14 Singles

There was even more success in the doubles, with Senan and Rafa both taking home titles in their respective categories. Senan teamed up with Richie Kennedy, while Rafa partnered with Sam Irwin.

🎾 Our very own Michael Beglan is off on another amazing tennis adventure! 🇮🇪

This time, Michael is heading to Flushing Meadows, where he has been invited to compete in the US Open Para-Standing Tennis Invitational — one of just 16 players from 12 different countries invited to take part! 🌎🎾

We wish Michael the very best of luck. What an incredible experience it should be — enjoy every minute, Michael! 👏🇮🇪
