We have refunded all travelling supporters tickets for today's disaster of a 2nd half performance. One of those days for the clarets, Cathedral clearly wanted it more especially after the break and our lads have to up the tempo next week as the fixtures don't get easier in division 1.

A thriller of a game last night against an excellent well coached Mallow Town FC . Our team consisted of 3 sets of brothers, 2 uncles 4 nephews 3 cousins and I'm pretty sure our Centre back is going off with the gaffers sister who are not related. We've changed our name to butter celtic as we're so in bread 👍. Goals from skipper Mark Dinneen, Jack kiely and last second equaliser from Adam O Brien to share the points. Man of the match was Conor Cronin. Best of luck to our neighbours who will be challenging for trophys this year for sure 👏

We begin our 5th season in business with what has to be said is the clubs toughest test yet. A highly competitive division 1 table which starts next Wednesday away to our neighbours Mallow Town.
A fantastic achievement for our small club to be playing division 1 soccer again let's see what we can do this year, best of luck to all the teams except when they play us, I wish ye no luck on that day 💪

Avondale 4 Boher 2.

On Wednesday the 8th, Boher travelled to Avondale for a 1st division clash.
The game was played at a great pace despite the hot conditions. Both teams, low on numbers, contributed to a fantastic contest.

The game started with chances for both but Avondale struck first with a well worked goal. Boher responded when a brilliant ball from Amy-lee found Natalie in the box, who made no mistake and added to her goal tally. 1 1 HT.

The second half started with the same intensity with both sides showing quality. Avondale added another goal to make it 2 1 and made it 3 when they converted a penalty.

Boher never let their heads drop and through a very well worked sequence, Amy Green got her first for Boher with a goal of the year contender.

Both teams kept pushing until the end. 4 2. FT.

A big thank you to Avondale for such a sporting game. A young team with fantastic football. Also thanks to ref Mark.

Lots of debuts for Boher recently and lots of super development. Having started the season as a mix of two teams, these girls are really gelling and showing they aren't far off the standard. ⚽️

A great performance from our ladies team last night in the cup away to Blarney. Normal time could not separate the two sides as it ended 2-2 both of our goals coming from our captain Natalie. Extra time could have gone either way unfortunately for us Blarney got the winner in the second half of extra time to progress to the next round. A very competitive game and a great playing style all thanks to our coaches Jackie and Mark. Fair play ladies on to the next one 💪

The lads lost yesterday in whitegate but at least we didn't get pepper sprayed💪
