Well Done to the U-16 girls and management who won the Shield Final today when they defeated Ardnaree in Bekan on a final scoreline of 2:11 to 1:07 💪🏼

The team was captained by Lauren Melvin who also won player of the match on the day 🙌🏼

Last Saturday was a proud day for Davitts GAA Club when the Sam Maguire Cup paid us a visit. We would like to thank our own Fenton Kelly and Colm Boyle who brought the famous trophy, along with team captain Jack Coyne and Donnacha McHugh. All four are brilliant ambassadors for Mayo football and they were so friendly, helpful and patient as they posed for about four hours with the large crowd. Mayo County Board were represented by the secretary, Ronan Kirrane, and PRO, Paul Cunnane.
A big thanks to all that helped to prepare the clubhouse and grounds, the stewards, the photographers, the music provider and those who helped with refreshments.
Finally, thanks to the hundreds of supporters who turned up, from near and far. They were patient, polite and enthusiastic throughout the evening. We hope that everyone enjoyed the event....Mhaigh Eo Abú!
