Starting to discover the fierce softness of the North. The rivers are magnificence

Struell Wells was built around a stream flowing through a secluded valley. It was a popular place of pilgrimage from the 1600s until the 1840s. The waters were believed to have curative powers and the site has a ruined church, two bath-houses (one for men, one for women) and two roofed wells, all fed by the stream.

After two weeks of preparing the heart well, we literally left our exhaust(ion) at the well and moved up to the Uisneach fire

What unfolded was the veils became thin and the sight of unicorns and fairies abounded. The gods and goddesses walked among the hawthorns and soft rolling hills of uisneach.

"Pour sacred oils upon your troubled waters,
By now and then going into silence
Holding for harmony
Slipping the sounds into the night"

As the procession climbed to the fire we opened up sound space with the gongs and the amazing Vocals of Áine Máire of Soundyoursoul.ie. Our vibrations carried the sound and understanding of the water.

We were clothed by the incredible Emily Nayhree Dawson painted by the talented Jodie Humble and bejewelled by Mano Entonada, each with their interpretation of the water.

The wonderful fairy tailor Em Ily provided the day time wings to help a fairy fly.

Thank you to all who contributed to the restoration of balance, where fire and water interact with harmony.

My brother and my friend Pip Sheridan is one of my favourite photographers and always up for a laugh, we decided to bring the sea to the top of Errigal.
I am blessed to feel seen and to share spaces with brothers such as these

Today curled up by the fire i started reading Airmids Journel developed and created by the amazing Sean Fitzgerald and Lucy O'Hagan. It wasn't long before i realised it was so good i had to get into the bath to read it. Absolutely delicious!
