A massive congrats to Hannah on her selection to the CWSSL Cork U14 Interleague Gaynor Cup Squad.

Our five Midleton hopefuls of Aliya, Sasha, Keelin, Grace and Hannah started off the process with giving it their all in the trials phase. It was bittersweet and huge disappointment for some when word came back that only Hannah was going forward to the next stage for the league centre but the girls are so supportive of each other and wished Hannah all the very best in the next stage which was going to be so hard to come through with only 20 selected for the final squad.

Hannah excelled and put everything she had into her league centre sessions and with her work ethic and strong physical presence and leadership we were all very hopeful she would make it and delighted when the news came through that she had made the final cut.

We would now like to wish Hannah and her Gaynor teammates, coaches and management every success this year.

Well done to the five U13 girls who were nominated by their coaches for the CWSSL U13 Interleague trials.

Angel, Darcie, Lara, Sarra and Rose put 100% in and did their utmost at the trials with hundreds of hopeful other participants from all over cork to try make it through to the League Centre Panel

Three of the five girls made it through to the league centre which they enjoyed immensely over the last 6 weeks and then got word that they made the final cut for the U13 Interleague Cork teams for a second year in a row.

A huge sense of pride in all five of these girls despite all not making it to the end of the process. A fantastic group and great bunch of players who work so hard.

The whole club are extremely proud of how far you have all grown and developed this past year. The very best of luck for the season ahead with the interleague teams.

Well done from all your teammates & Coaches

Congratulations to U12s Doireann who had been selected for the CWSSL Cork Interleague squad. Doireann attended numerous trials from which she was selected for the league centre where a final panel was then selected to represent cork.

A massive well done also to Doireann's teammate Sorcha who also made it through to the league centre but narrowly missed out on selection to the squad and to Emma and Cara who did themselves and their club proud at the trials. Keeping working hard girls and be proud of how much you have grown and developed over the past year.
