Emyvale Cycling Club would like to congratulate Club member Eddie Keelan on successfully completing the II Lombardia Gran Fondo, Italy last Sunday 11th October 26.
A fantastic achievement and a true test of endurance, strength and determination.
Known for its challenging terrain and spectacular scenery, the II Lombardia Gran Fondo takes riders through the demanding roads of Lombardy, Italy following the spirit of one of the professional cyclings most ironic one day race, the race of the falling leaves🍂
With a gruelling 110km of riding and approximately 2,500metres of climbing this event is no easy feat. The restless accents and demanding descents make it a serious challenge for even the most experienced cyclists.
Well done Eddie from everyone at Emyvale Cycling Club 💪

Over the past two weeks two different gangs of club members headed off to sunny Mallorca for a bit of cycling fun in the sunshine.
The first week saw some of the men from the club and the second week had a mix of men and women from the club along with other friends from other clubs joining in the fun with Emyvale Cycling Club.
This was a week with plenty of pedalling, laughter and coffee stops a plenty.
A great week was had by all exploring the beautiful island of Mallorca in all it's cycling glory.

Gravel of the Glen's promoted by Dunloy Cycling Club
Saturday 26th October

Club members, Richie and John, took part in this great gravel event one of the toughest.
A gravel adventure through some of the most breath taking landscapes in the Glen's of Antrim.
There were two routes to choose from taking
in the majestic Slieveanorra Forest and the iconic Glenariff Waterfall and the perfect weather conditions added to the day.

Sunday 6th September 2026
Armagh Cycling Club holds the Ulster Road Race 2026 championships.

Dara Mckenna took part in this final Ulster Road Race of the year 2026
This was a very challenging course
The course was the following length
134km for men elite & juniors
98km Masters 40
66km Master 50 +
There were a good 80+ riders who signed up for this race. The route alone is hard and challenging, but this was also faced with high winds and cross winds. This was a very fast, hard-hitting race for the start, with plenty of attacking going on all along the race from the riders.
Dara had a good hard day's racing, staying stuck in with the bunch, and finished strong. Dara is very familiar with these roads and knew exactly what he had to do, and he did so.
This was a very well ran race by Armagh CC with a good presence of marshals along the roads to keep it safe for the race with a fantastic finish line followed by a great reception back at hq.
Well done to Armagh Cycling Club for taking on this of the running of this the last Ulster Road race of 2026 at a very short notice of only three weeks.
Thanks to Dany Blondeel for the photos.

Thank you to each and every one for making yesterday's race a great day.
Congratulations to each of you who took part in a hard day's racing.

Apologies for the delay. We had some major broadband outages this afternoon in North Monaghan.

The GP was well attended and the racing proved ferocious. Thankfully all riders returned home safe with only a few punctures providing the non-race drama.
