Hi everyone👋🏻 and welcome back to 🔥
Today we look at Lasse Virén’s legendary 10,000 meter Olympic Gold medal and world record performance at the 1972 Munich Games
At the 12th lap the Finnish runner tangled with another runner and crashed hard into the track.
Instead of dropping out Virén got back up and managed to catch up to the front of the pack within 150 meters.
He didn’t just catch up, he raced ahead and won the Olympic medal and shattered the world record with a time of 27:38.4 🏆

Today we are doing the famous BACK HYPEREXTENSION Machine exercise.
🟢In the first video I am doing good form, with the slider adjusted to my waist, hinging comfortably forward and rising back straight.
🔴In the second video not only am I not leaning/hinging forward enough but I am also extended myself backwards way too far.
🔴In the final video I am facing the wrong direction, getting zero stimulus for my posterior chain and instead I am effecting my abdominals.
