We have emailed to inform you that Caroli
ne Kearney Memorial Triathlon 2018 will now be run as a duathlon event. Please note that the race remains part of the BMW Triathlon National Series and all points will be awarded as if the event remained a triathlon.

Due to the current ‘No Swim’ restriction at Lilliput, we have no choice but to cancel the swim portion of our event. While we acknowledge that the quality issues are only in a small area of Lilliput, the health and safety of our participants is of paramount importance.

The distances for the duathlon will be as follows: 5km Run / 40km Bike / 10km Run. The race briefing will be issued to all participants by Tuesday, 7th August.

We look forward to hosting you on August 11th for a fantastic race day!

As you may be aware there have been some water quality issues at Lilliput which we are closely monitoring with the local county council and TI. The CK committee are continuing to plan to run this race with a swim element. However, as with all races we need to also plan for potential changes to the format.

Most importantly we want to assure all participants that Caroline Kearney will run as planned on Aug 11th. Regardless of any potential change to the format it will remain a National Series race and all points will be allocated as normal!

As we draw closer to race day we will provide more regular updates as we have them.

Feel free to do a few rain dances over the coming weeks!

As the dust settles on another successful Caroline Kearney event...we want to thank all of the 525 + triathletes that traveled to Lilliput to make it such a special event yesterday.

All your lovely reviews are really appreciated!!!

An event that seems over in the blink of an eye this morning was months in the making so huge congratulations to Race Director Emer ,the 2017 Committee and all in Midland Tri.

Special shout out to all our marshals who were onsite from 6.30am til the bitter end - these events can't happen without you so big thanks to our friends in local clubs, Lakeside Wheelers and Mullingar Harriers, Mullingar Sub Aqua and Mullingar Canoe Club.

Registration in the morning is from 7am at Race HQ in Lilliput.
