Kidz and Co. Open seven days a week for private parties and dedicated play sessions. All parties an Kidz and Co is an indoor softplay centre for children.

We offer a relaxing environment for parents and a fun, weather-proof, space for children. We have a cafe that provides healty snacks, and also other treats too. There are a range of party packages available, and we are happy to discuss ways in which we can meet your child's birthday needs. We can provide a child-friendly environment for special-needs groups, parent-child groups and other organisations supporting children and parents - please ring to discuss how we can be of assistance.

Gardai, in Westmeath, are looking for children, or adults, to make some handmade Christmas cards with positive Christmas messages on them; no envelopes required.

These cards will be delivered to the elderly and vulnerable who live alone within our community, throughout the Christmas period.

The cards can be collected or dropped to Athlone or Mullingar Stations. For any enquiries please contact Community Policing Units at either station.

Last date for collection is 6th December 2024.

With Halloween upon us, please keep in mind, a lot of little people will be visiting your home. Be accepting. The child who is grabbing more than one piece of candy may have poor fine motor skills.

The child who takes forever to pick out one piece of candy may have motor planning issues. The child who does not say trick or treat or thank you may be non-verbal. The child who looks disappointed when they see your bowl might have an allergy.

The child who isn't wearing a costume at all might have a sensory issue (SP0) or autism. That BIG boy, might 'appear' to be an adult, but may be developmentally delayed.

Choose your words wisely. Be nice. Be patient. Its everyone's Halloween.
