Some bold words from Pato O’Ward about fans comments on Scott Dixon after his move to Arrow Mclaren was announced 😬..

“I wish people felt shame a little bit more,” the Mexican told INDYCAR media. The most recent race winner has also recently announced that he will no longer fulfil reserve driver duties for McLaren’s Formula 1 team, fully committing to the INDYCAR project.

“I’ve been shocked at the disrespect that he has received. Guys like him don’t forget how to drive.”

Charlie Eastwood and Peter Dempsey are WEC winners!

The Irish duo, alongside Salih Yoluc, have taken victory at the Six Hours Of Sao Paulo for #34 Racing Team Turkey By TF in the LMGT3 class.

It was domination from the red coloured Corvette Z06 GT3.R with a unique driver strategy, putting bronze driver Dempsey up against the other team's silver runners. It paid off however, alongside their fuel strategy, allowing Eastwood to take the chequered flag in first place.

It marks back-to-back wins in WEC for TF Sport, who took victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the teams sister car.

Congratulations Charlie and Peter!

A very cool moment for Alex Dunne who drives a Formula 1 car up the hill at Goodwood for the first time!

The Alpine junior is piloting the 2012 Lotus Formula 1 machine across the weekend, being joined by his junior team teammates.

He will complete a total of two trips up the hill.

Easily one of Ireland’s most popular classes of racing at the minute is Fiesta Zetec’s! With capacity grids at two different rounds this season, the championship is heating up. Sean McGovern leads, but a strong weekend for Christian Brennan puts him back in contention.

The third member of the Wolff racing family is finally bursting onto the scene. Jack Fynn Wolff, son of Mercedes team boss Toto and managing director of F1 Academy, Susie, took his first competitive racing win at the Iame Series Italy last Sunday.

Jack has been racing in the Iame Series Italy X30 U10 category all season, and has picked up a number of podiums. He finally took the win at the popular Cremona track ahead of rivals Brodie Mason and Syabil Basalamah.

A future F1 star in the making?

Scott Dixon has been confirmed as an Arrow Mclaren driver for the 2027 INDYCAR season, leaving Chip Ganassi, a team he has raced for over 400 times.

It is a move that sends shock waves into the paddock, and shuffles up the field, with Felix Rosenqvist leaving Meyer Shank Racing and returning to Mclaren.

How does it compare to other sports however? Messi to PSG? Marquez to Ducati? What if T.J Reid left to win an All Ireland with Cork? Check out all the comparisons!

It’s been a two horse race at the top of the ICCR Fiesta Zetec championship in 2026. Both Sean McGovern and Ian Fishbourne have shared the spoils this season, with McGovern claiming both pole positions and Race 1 wins, with Fishbourne the master of the reserve grid Race 2’s.

This weekend will see a first outing on the International circuit for 2026 and could well see a new winner this year. The experienced Mick Kehoe and Keith Dawson have also stood on the podium this year and will be in contention. Sam Doyle and Andy Kavanagh may also be in contention.

Another excellent weekend of tin top racing awaits!

Seen as the world is in a national competition frenzy, here’s how this season’s Formula 2 podium race stacks up based on drivers nationality!

Ireland sits a whopping second, with Offaly’s Alex Dunne adding 5 podiums, and dual-nationality holder John Bennett taking the win last time out in Spielberg.

Who will add to their total in Silverstone?
