Probe into Blackwater fish kill finds no definitive cause The inter-agency group set up last month to investigate the cause of the large fish kill on the River Blackwater near Mallow in Co Cork in early August has concluded its work, but says it has not been able to identify the cause of the fish kill.

Shamefully, Ireland holds the unenviable distinction as 'puppy farm capital of Europe'. Unscrupulous dog breeders (puppy farmers) earn €200 MILLION per year from their criminal activity.

To highlight this intolerable negligence of puppy farming, a demonstration has been arranged for Saturday, October 4th at 2pm.

Assembling at the Garden of Remembrance, Parnell Square, proceeding through O'Connell Street & finishing at Merrion Square Park.
