Best of luck to Kells Celtic Youths Dylan Clarke who has signed for Dundalk FC U14 League of Ireland team.

Dylan has been a fantastic servant for Kells and the North Eastern Regional League team over the past number of years and most recently picked up the NERL Player of the Year.

This is now the next step in Dylan’s journey and from all at Kells we wish him the very best of luck.

All of our clubs work tirelessly throughout the year to provide football for their members, volunteers, families and local communities. To see the facilities at Tully Park deliberately vandalised in this way is both heartbreaking and deeply frustrating.

The damage caused affects far more than a building – it impacts the volunteers who give up their time, the members who support their club, and the wider community that helps keep grassroots football alive. If anyone has any information regarding this senseless act of vandalism, no matter how small it may seem, please contact Trim Garda Station or reach out to Trim Celtic AFC directly.

We stand with Trim Celtic AFC and hope those responsible are identified and brought to justice. In the meantime, we know the club, with the support of its members and community, will rebuild and move forward.

As the NERL Academy season draws to a close, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the Academy administration staff whose hard work and dedication have once again made the programme a success.

A special mention must go to our Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches, whose commitment to countless hours on the training pitch have played a vital role in the development of our players throughout the season.

In particular, we would like to recognise the outstanding contribution of our Kennedy Cup and Gaynor Cup management teams. Head Coaches Ciaran O'Brien and JP Owens, alongside their assistants of Jonathan Connolly, Ciaran Daly, Jonathan Callaghan, Keelin Comiskey, and Ben Matthews, who invested an incredible amount of time and effort into preparing and supporting our representative squads.

Both teams enjoyed outstanding campaigns, with the Kennedy Cup squad narrowly missing out on the ultimate prize and the Gaynor Cup squad seeing their journey end in a heartbreaking penalty shootout against the DDSL.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back when the Academy returns in August.

Enjoy the break, and we'll see you all soon. 💙⚽

Congratulations to Lucy Donnelly, who has been voted Players’ Player of the Year for the NERL Academy 2012 Girls Team. 🏆⚽

Lucy was one of the standout performers throughout the NERL Academy season, consistently demonstrating her quality, work rate, and determination. Her class shone through at the Gaynor Cup, where she repeatedly outworked and outplayed her opponents while leading by example in every game.

This award, voted for by her teammates, is a reflection not only of her ability on the pitch but also of the respect she has earned from those around her through her attitude, commitment, and dedication to the team.

Well done, Lucy – a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved! 👏🏆⚽💙

Congratulations to Dylan Clarke, who was voted Players’ Player of the Year for the NERL Academy 2012 Boys Team.

Dylan has been one of the standout performers for the NERL Academy this season, excelling in both the SFAI Inter-Leagues and at this year’s Kennedy Cup, where he consistently demonstrated his quality, commitment, and work ethic.

One of the highlights of Dylan’s season came at the Kennedy Cup when he scored what many considered one of the goals of the tournament. With the game against Kildare entering its final minute, Dylan produced a thunderous volley into the top corner to secure a dramatic winning goal.

Being voted Players’ Player of the Year by his teammates is a fitting recognition of the impact he has made both on and off the pitch.

Well done, Dylan – a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved. 👏💙
