Fitter Younger

For our final of the year, Fitter Younger was back in Derry as we returned to St Trea's Primary School for what has become an annual event for the School. The weather was perfect and the girls and boys were in fantastic form, singing along to the music and enjoying their day out in the sunshine. Their day got even better when they realised that had set a new school record, completing the marathon distance in a super time! Well done to everyone who took part today!!

Today Fitter Younger made our first visit to Derrychrin Primary School for their event. The school was using the event to raise funds for a past pupil, Kerri Mullan, who was involved in a serious accident three months ago.

It was absolutely brilliant to see the full school, all pupils and staff, along with Kerri's family, come together to complete the marathon distance. The feeling of community was really on display today, and, in the glorious sunshine, they finished the event in a fantastic time! Well done to everyone involved in the event today!!

Yesterday Fitter Younger travelled to St Canice’s Co-Ed Primary School for their annual fundraising event. The Parents Association use this event as one of their annul fundraisers. The boys and girls all ran brilliantly to complete the marathon in a new school record! Well done everyone!!

Fitter Younger had a very unique day back in Scoil Éanna, Ballybay today. With the weather turning wet, we decided to run the event in the School hall and altered our to complete a shorter half marathon distance instead. There was great excitement at the novelty of running this event indoors, and with lots of cheering and encouragement, the girls and boys finished the event in a brilliant time! Well done everyone!!

Fitter Younger was back in Ashbourne ETNS as the Ashbourne Educate Together Parents Association once again used our as their annual fundraiser. Thankfully the rain held off during the event, and the girls and boys completed the marathon in a super fast time!

Yesterday Fitter Younger was in Kentstown NS for their annual . This is always a very enjoyable day as there are so many brilliant runners in the School. Once again, the school finished the marathon distance in a brilliant time!

Fitter Younger was back in Limerick today as Kilcornan National School once again used our event as an annual fundraiser. The boys and girls here are always very fast, and today they went even faster and finished the marathon distance in a new school record! Well done everyone!!
